ALBANY, N.Y. (October 13, 2026) – Capital Region travelers will soon have a new nonstop option to one of the East Coast’s most popular vacation destinations, as Breeze Airways today announced new year-round service between Albany International Airport (ALB) and Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR).

The new route will launch on Friday, May 28, 2027, and operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays.

The flight will also offer BreezeThru service to Orlando International Airport (MCO), allowing Orlando-bound passengers to remain aboard the aircraft in Myrtle Beach before continuing to Central Florida.

“We’re thrilled to see Breeze Airways continue to grow its presence at Albany International Airport with the addition of year-round nonstop service to Myrtle Beach,” said Stephen Clark, CEO of Albany International Airport. “Since arriving at ALB last year, Breeze has quickly become a valued partner and has brought exciting new opportunities to Capital Region travelers. Myrtle Beach is another terrific addition, giving our community an easy, convenient way to reach one of the country’s most popular leisure destinations.”

Breeze Airways is ALB’s newest airline partner, having launched service at the airport in June 2025. In addition to Myrtle Beach, Breeze currently offers service from Albany to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; Charleston, South Carolina; and Fort Myers, Florida.

“The continued expansion of air service at Albany International Airport is another clear indication of the growth and momentum we're experiencing,” said Sam Fresina, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority Board of Directors. “Coming off the busiest year in our airport's history, we're continuing to make significant investments in our facilities while working to bring more travel options to the Capital Region. Breeze's decision to expand its service once again reflects the strength of our market and reinforces our confidence in ALB's future.”

“Every route we add to our network starts with the same question: where can Breeze’s direct service bring travelers a convenience they don’t already enjoy today?” said David Neeleman, Breeze Airways’ founder and CEO. “These new routes and destinations now bring Breeze’s high-value, low-cost service to these cities, making affordable travel to great destinations more convenient than ever.”

The new Albany-Myrtle Beach service will be operated aboard Breeze’s Airbus A220-300 with seating for 137 passengers. Introductory fares for the new route start at $69* one way.
