Taking Concourse A to New Heights

We're excited to begin long overdue renovations on Concourse A at Albany International Airport - the first major improvements in over 40 years. Commonly referred to as the "79 Building" due to the year it was constructed, this project aims to completely modernize and rehabilitate the facility where United and Allegiant Airlines currently operate, by enhancing ADA accessibility, increasing airline and passenger capacity, and add two new gates and jet bridges with the goal of increasing competition and improving air service for the Region. This project is partially funded by $10.6 million from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill.
