ALBANY, N.Y.; May 10, 2024 – Avelo Airlines takes off today with exclusive nonstop service between Albany International Airport (ALB) and The Research Triangle’s Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service between New York and North Carolina’s state capitals.
Avelo will operate this route twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. Low one-way fares between ALB and RDU start at $69*. Customers can make reservations at AveloAir.com.

Avelo Customers traveling between ALB and RDU today were greeted with celebration and fanfare, including a water cannon salute, commemorative boarding passes, and Avelo Airlines representatives on a nearly full inaugural flight.
