Albany International Airport Announces Return of Nonstop Service to Las Vegas, Nevada
Southwest Airlines will begin service from ALB to “The Entertainment Capital of the World” Beginning in August
ALBANY, NY (May 13, 2024) – The Albany International Airport (ALB) today announced that Southwest Airlines will be providing nonstop service from ALB to Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS) beginning in August. The service will take place four days a week and place travelers in Las Vegas in approximately five hours.
“I am thrilled that Southwest Airlines will be returning their nonstop service from ALB to LAS - a popular destination for travelers both here in the Capital Region and beyond,” said ALB CEO Phil Calderone. “Today’s announcement underscores the ongoing success at ALB and our commitment to working with airlines to best serve the nearly1.4 million passengers who travel through ALB annually. The nonstop service will begin on August 5, 2024 and fly passengers to and from Las Vegas on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
