Albany International Airport Announces New Nonstop Service to Nashville, Tennessee 

Southwest Airlines to Provide Service to “The Music City”

Beginning April 2025

ALBANY, NY (September 26, 2024) – Albany International Airport (ALB) today announced that Southwest Airlines will be providing new nonstop service from ALB to Nashville International Airport (BNA) beginning on April 8, 2025. The service will consist of one flight to and from Nashville each day and occur six days a week. This new flight will place travelers in this world-renowned destination, known especially for live music and entertainment, in approximately two hours and twenty-five minutes. BNA also offers many connection opportunities to destinations across the United States and globe.

“I am thrilled that Southwest Airlines will soon be offering nonstop service from ALB to BNA - a popular destination for travelers both here in the Capital Region and beyond,” said Sam Fresina, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority. “Today’s announcement is a testament to ALB’s continued growth, as well as our commitment to working with airlines to best serve air travelers. We’re proud of our partnership with Southwest Airlines and look forward to continuing to work together to build upon today’s exciting announcement.”

The new nonstop service will begin on April 8, 2025 and fly passengers to and from BNA Sunday – Friday.
