Carry-On Items

Passengers are permitted one carry-on bag and one personal item such as a purse, a laptop, or briefcase, beyond the security checkpoint.

Laptops, camcorders, CD players, and electronic hand-held games are permitted as carry-ons. Laptops must be removed from their cases and placed in a plastic bin at the TSA checkpoint.  TSA Pre✓™ passengers utilizing the designated TSA Pre✓™ lane do not have to remove laptops from their cases.

NOTE: Liquids, gels and aerosols in containers larger than 3.4 ounces are NOT permitted beyond the security checkpoint. Liquids, gels and aerosols in containers 3.4 ounces or less must be placed in a clear, plastic, sealable 1-quart bag and presented for inspection at the checkpoint. Passengers are limited to one clear plastic bag. TSA Pre✓™ passengers utilizing the designated TSA Pre✓™ lane may leave their 3-1-1 compliant liquids, gels and aerosols in their carry-on bags. All other liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in checked baggage.

Exceptions and possible additional screening may occur when carrying prescription and over-the-counter medications, baby formula, breast milk, and eye drops as well as other medically necessary items. These items can exceed 3 ounces but must also be presented for inspection at the checkpoint.
